This week was passed with some excitement, chaotic and rushing with time.
Had a job interview in PWSS on Thursday, took 2 buses + LRT (omg)＋taxi = finally reach the place. It was my first time taking the stupid LRT, it is so confusing as it labeled the destination stops as before 3pm and after 3pm. I took both directions of the LRT and ended up in SengKang again.
Looking down at my watch, it was 2.58pm and my interview was at 3pm. Rushed down to the taxi stand, jumped onto a cab and finally reached PW in a few minutes time.
Apologized to the interviewers for being late and the Principal, teacher, HOD of IT were laughing their heads off as they responded to me, ” It’s ok, we too got lost in LRT most of the time.”
Zzzz..
The most coincidence thing was that, Mdm Chin, my secondary school music teacher/D&T teacher A.K.A HOD of Crafts and Technology is the Principal best friend and ex instructor to the HOD of IT.

The interviewed goes on with a few weirds questions and ended in less than 1/2 hour .
Some of the weird questions they asked :
- Why were you involved in Tan Kah Khee Young Inventor’s competition?
- Who was the teacher-in-charge at that time?
- What you invented?
- Do you know Mrs Kuan (Mdm Chin)
- Were you a technical student? ( I was applying for IT trainer job)
- Can you tell me all the part jobs you had before? (my god, i had a lot before since sec 3)

Supper of the night! Ben Zhen Wanton Mee! (笨珍玉吞面）
This was bought at Bedok Central Hawker Center after 11pm. Sadly, they ran out of Char Siew, and was replaced by boiled wanton instead.
On the signboard it say, noodle will not turn soft even for takeaway. So I ordered 2 packets to bring home for supper, it really does taste as great as eating on the spot despite the time I took on my bus journey.
I love how the crispy wanton got crush in the mouth and it is not oily at all. Not like the oil will splatter out after a bite into the deep-fried wanton, it tastes more like slowly melted in your mouth.
How I wish to have another packet of Ben Zhen Wanton Mee Again!

Yes,this is yet another steamboat post.And it took place just the day after the steamboat with the Ah Bish Dept, I think most of you could had guessed that I really love Steamboat alot.
We had a mini-gathering at CT’s place as a post new year reunion.
Some of the food were bought by us before going over to her house and the rest were prepared by CT’s mom. She prepared a pot of Chinese herbal soup for us.
This super distorted tofu was my “masterpiece” . =x I was supposed to help to cut out the tofu from it packaging in one piece..well…
Sometime, true happiness does not necessary mean to be indulge in delicacies or luxury, to be able to have a simple meal with a bunch best buddies, sitting around chatting about ourselves can be a true blessing too.

This is a super out-dated post. These photos had been in my SD cards for about 1 month and I had totally forgot about it!
These was taken when I met up with the Ah Bish Dept and Nancy for steamboat at Bugis , Chong Qing Steamboat shop.
We chose Ma La (spicy) and chicken soup.
All these food were only parts of what we took.
As Ah Bish Dept is a very shy department, I decided to exclude all the photos that contain their faces.
The food were serve fresh, but the ingredients were slightly lesser in varieties compared to the first level ( we were seated on the second level). So if you want to have more varieties in veggies, better choose to sit on the first level.

Bi Bim Bap ( S$5.00)It is a Dolsot bibimbap actually, it serves warm with the runny egg yolk in the center of the bowl. When it first presented to me, it look so appetizing la. (once again, the photograph does not do the food any justice).
